Tech Herfrica Deepens Digital Learning & AI Skills at her STEMHer Club in Abuja
Monitoring & Evaluation Visit at Government Day Secondary School, Wuse II, Abuja
On November 6, 2025, Tech Herfrica conducted a Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) visit to the STEM Her Club at Government Day Secondary School, Wuse II, Abuja. This follow-up session reinforced the digital and AI learning initiatives launched in October 2024, in partnership with the Federal Capital Territory Secondary Education Board (SEB), Child of Christ Community, Mashindano, Laerryblue Media, and Faslearn.
The session focused on strengthening the STEM Club, deepening students’ understanding of AI-assisted learning tools like Google Gemini and integrating digital skills into their academic journey. Since its launch, the club has grown significantly, with 15 new female students joining the community.

15 new students were introduced to the club’s objectives, ongoing projects, and opportunities for growth through consistent participation.
- Basic AI & Digital Skills Refresher
Returning members participated in a digital literacy refresher, focusing on responsible technology use and alignment with project goals.

Students learned basic prompt engineering and how to craft effective prompts for research, summarization, and STEM topic exploration. Training emphasized practical, interactive learning to ensure skill retention and real-world application.
